Overview
At a Legends of Polynesia Island Night at The Rarotongan Beach Resort & Spa witness the opening of the traditional underground fire pit oven, the umu, then delight in the sumptuous umukai feast of such favorites as succulent island pork, lamb and gamefish slow cooked to perfection, rukau (taro greens), eke (octopus curry), ika mata (fresh gamefish in coconut cream), and poke (said po-kay, banana pudding). Top island troupes such as Orama (The Vision) and E Matike (Awake!) then drum and dance the night away with unforgettable energy and passion.
Island Night takes place on Wednesday and Friday nights.
