Captain George Koteka has 30 years of experience in the Cook Islands game fishing industry. He is the current Cook Islands Game Fish Club's record holder on rod and reel after landing a 327kg blue marlin. In addition, Captain George has won many local fishing contests and boasts a secret bait recipe that attracts the best and biggest fish.
Cameron Thorp also has many local fishing contest victories under his belt, as well as having his Dive Master certificate and local skipper's ticket. Cameron is the deckhand for Akura and has done over 460 dives around Rarotonga, so he knows the local waters in and out.
