Le Sereno Beach Hotel
OverviewDesigned by famed Parisian designer Christian Liaigre, it's the much anticipated reincarnation of the iconic Sereno Beach Hotel. As reinvented by Liaigre, Le Sereno is an intimate, elegant sanctuary. A beachfront gem with 37 exquisitely furnished suite and villas. It's located on the east end of the island along 180 meters (600 feet) of beach on picturesque Grand Cul-de-Sac, a turquoise cove protected from the ocean waves by a coral reef. The site was noted by The Travel Channel as "one of the most beautiful beaches in the world." An impeccably-trained, around-the-clock staff prides itself on anticipating each guest's every whim, with an array of amenities and services:
Liaigre's modern and elegant custom furnishings for each room are complemented with signature robes and linens especially made for Le Sereno by D. Porthault, Ex Voto Paris amenities, twice-daily housekeeping service, wireless internet, cordless two-line phones, Plasma TV's , as well as personal IPods and IPod docking stations. Guests also enjoy complimentary limo service to and from the airport. St. Barth has emerged as one of the world's most elegant and fashionable resorts. Frequented primarily by an upscale clientele, this French island attracts discriminating travelers who favor an exclusive vacation spot. Part of the French West Indies, St. Barth is located only 25 km (15 miles) Southeast of St. Maarten and offers a wide variety of gourmet restaurants and high-end boutiques. St. Barth is sunny and dry year round, with temperatures ranging from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius (72 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit). The official language is French, although English is widely spoken. All areas of the island are safe for tourists; locals are known for their warm hospitality and joie de vivre, which complement the peaceful island setting. The local atmosphere and unique community is what really sets St. Barth apart from other beautiful Caribbean islands. St. Barth's beaches are renowned for being some of the most beautiful and pristine in the world. Many are found in small coves, which have been protected from development by strict environmental friendly zoning. Unlike many of its neighboring Caribbean islands, it has not been overrun with prefab condos and large chain hotels. St. Barth features some of the best cuisine in the Caribbean. The island has over 80 restaurants featuring culinary styles ranging from classic French to Asian to West Indian. Many of these restaurants attract gourmet chefs trained in France to oversee their kitchens. The nightlife of St. Barth is diverse as well. Visitors looking for late-night pleasures can listen to live jazz at a café or dance the night away at one of the local discos or after hour's clubs. St. Barth is also a duty-free port, rated as one of the premier shopping destinations in the Caribbean. The capital Gustavia is the principal shopping area of the island. There are boutiques and emporiums for the most sophisticated shoppers, featuring luxury brands such as Cartier, Hermes, and Dior to name a few. There are numerous health and beauty clinics and fitness centers catering to the island's upscale clientele. |
Testimonials from my clients
Here's what some of my past clients have said:
"All I can say is WOW and thank you to Laura from Change of Latitude Travel.
I had no idea where to go and she had wonderful suggestions for me being very attentive to what I wanted. My vacation was superb with all of the tips from her. The resort itself was exceptionally beautiful and the entertainment every night was fantastic.
Laura told me that if I took lessons on the paddle boards and the catamaran the very first day that I was there that I could use them whenever I wanted (as long as they were available) the whole time that I was there.
She also told me that around lunch time there would be carts around the resort that would have something special everyday so that if you wanted to hang by the pool or by the beach and not get out of your bathing suit, you could try Jamaican Heritage food. Thank you for the Great advise. I really enjoyed the jerk chicken (with no extra spices) and the coconut juice (milk).
I know from now on I am not going to try to use the internet and go strictly to her for all of my travel wants and needs!

"I was greatly pleased with Laura's quality of service. She listened to our requests and requirements and recommended great destination wedding resorts for us to choose from. She organized all the travel and lodging in Mexico for 35 of our guests. Laura was very flexible with individual guest requests, and got a great rates for my guests. She played the liaison between myself and the wedding coordinator at the resort. This lead to a quite effortless, seamless process. I was also very impressed with how she continued to support my guests through their travel to, and during their stay in Mexico. I would highly recommend working with Laura she is very professional and personable. She made the entire experience very easy, which is key when planning a destination wedding!"

"A Change of Latitude took care of our every need for our destination wedding and honeymoon. We took our time interviewing travel agents and after meeting Laura we knew we found the perfect person to help us...she help us choose the destination (Jamaica), the resort (Sandals White House), and connected us with an awesome wedding planner, after all of that, she made sure we and all of our guests got VIP treatment during our weeks stay. I would recommend A Change of Latitude HIGHLY if you want personalized service and treatment from the beginning to end."
