Bathing
Polynesian Spa’s geothermal mineral waters are sourced from two natural springs and feed into 28 hot mineral pools. The slightly acidic Priest Spring waters relieve aches and pains while the alkaline waters of the Rachel Spring nourish skin.

Overview
Polynesian Spa is one of New Zealand's oldest international spas and attracts both New Zealand and overseas visitors from a very broad range of countries.
For a number of years, we have been recognized as one of the World Top Ten Spas (natural/ thermal/ medical) by readers of the UK Conde Nast Traveler Magazine, 2004-2007 & 2009.
The spa is a 100% New Zealand-owned private company, operated by the Lobb family since 1972. In almost forty years we have had a policy of continuous improvement that has seen the old government-run baths of the mid 1900's transformed into the internationally-renowned spa that it is today. All development has capitalized on the totally unique geothermal views from the spa overlooking Sulphur Bay on Lake Rotorua and on the sustainable use of the health-giving Rotorua geothermal waters. In addition, all developments have been done in strict sympathy with the original 1930's heritage buildings on the site.
