Overview

The Alaska Zoo has provided a home for orphaned, injured and captive-born animals for more than four decades. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to promoting the conservation of Arctic, sub-Arctic and like climate species through education, research and community enrichment. We are proud to offer quality education programs and events for Alaskans and visitors.

Enjoy wine and beers selections from WineStyles, appetizers, visit with Zoo animals and bid on great silent auction items to raise funds for the Zoo. Tickets are $55 and ONLY available at WineStyles on Old Seward Highway. Tickets go fast, don't delay.

The Alaska Zoo is located along the beautiful, wooded hillside of south Anchorage. The facility sits on 20 acres of boreal forest, with Little Campbell Creek running through along the trails to the north end. Enjoy your visit!

The Alaska Zoo is a private, nonprofit. To ensure the ongoing operations and continuous improvement of your Zoo, we count on individuals, corporations and foundations to help achieve our goals. To implement our plans and reach our vision, a steady flow of funding must be maintained and expanded.
