Quadbike Adventures
Our four wheel bike rides are an unforgettable eco experience where you travel though farmland into the quiet splendour of a thousand acre native forest, and enjoy superb coastal views on the same ride. Riders need to be at least 16 years of age - but anyone can go on tour as a passenger, either on the back of a friend's quadbike or with the guide.
You can combine any tour with a ride on our unique Skywire, the world's longest flying fox!
--FARM FOREST RIDE
This is a shorter ride, designed to suit all abilities. Visit the giant Matai trees and native forest trails. Ride through the fields of sheep and along the banks of the river. Play on our famous fun track!
TIME: Allow 1 ½ hours.
--BAYVIEW CIRCUIT
Our most popular ride. Explore over 14 km of beautiful native forest trails. Visit the world's largest Matai tree. Ride high to the hilltops, to spectacular coastal scenery, then down through the farmlands. Play on our famous 'fun track'. Light refreshments included.
TIME: Allow 2 ½ hours.
--BLUE HILL RIDE
This ride covers the Bayview Circuit then climbs higher on more challenging trails. Not for the fainthearted, this ride is for experienced riders only - no passengers allowed!
TIME: Allow 3 hours.
--SUNDOWNER TOUR
Experience the twilight of the native forest as you ride high to the hill tops. Watch the sunset enclose historic Delaware bay. As darkness falls, ride to one of our secret glow-worm grottos, and explore the trails by torchlight. See the animal night life then feed the eels and trout to complete a great experience. You could choose to BBQ or have a delicious snack meal at the cafe before your adventure. This tour only operates in the summer months and is dependent on sufficient numbers. TIME: Allow all evening.
