Overview - Hotel Arts Barcelona. Copyright Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Designed by the distinguished architect Bruce Graham of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the Hotel Arts is part of Barcelona's recent cultural renaissance, and as modern as the city itself.

Built to coincide with the Olympic Games in 1992, this luxury hotel is a landmark on the Barceloneta boardwalk: 44 stories of blue glass and exposed steel soaring high above the seafront. Inside, hard edges and materials give way to an environment of elegance and refinement, filled with luxurious spaces to explore and discover at your leisure.

Discover a luxury hotel on the Mediterranean in one of Europe's most dynamic cities. A blissful retreat, cultural hub, meeting space and fine dining destination rolled into one. A place where exceptional service comes as standard, and every guest is made to feel part of the family. Welcome to the Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Pros: This is a beautiful, modern, sleek hotel. Part of Ritz Carlton, so book with me for the STARS benefits! The rooms all have spectacular views of either the city or the sea....I prefer the city view, because Barcelona is such an interestin city architecture-wise. You have a choice of either deluxe or club level. Again with STARS and Virtuoso there is a good chance of getting upgraded when you book with me and the other amenities are great like the daily full breakfast and food and beverage credit. The Six Senses Spa is wonderful!

Cons: Expensive food and drink prices. The locationm while it is spectacular is a bit away from where you want to be in Barcelona. Of course if you have your own car and driver it is not a problem! You can walk along the beach, but the beach is not where you will spend alot of time.
