Hollyford track, Fiordland NZYou're standing on the shores of a glistening lake, where mighty fiords descend into pristine waterways, and majestic mountains rise above lush rainforest. The nearest sealed road is 35 kilometres away; access is by air or boat alone. Your nearest neighbours are a colony of fur seals and the only sounds are the distant crash of waves on the rugged coastline.

This is one of the most remote and spectacular locations our region has to offer. Home to Fiordland National Park (of World Heritage status) and an abundance of legends of those who tried to tame this wild terrain long ago. Despite this remote location, a comfortable private lodge awaits you, complete with your attentive lodge hosts and delicious three-course dinner.

The 2 Day Fiordland Heli Escape is a 2 day / 1 night all-inclusive guided walk and wilderness experience. Flying by helicopter from Milford Sound to beautiful Martins Bay you'll experience the magic of this remote and rugged coastal area including a walk through the majestic Podocarp forest and the seal colony at Long Reef. Your guide will share a wealth of local knowledge as you explore this area by foot and jet boat. You'll be welcomed into our private lodge at Martins Bay where you'll enjoy a delicious three-course meal, a hot shower and our kiwi hospitality. The next morning you'll enjoy a hearty breakfast before exploring the remains of historic settlement Jamestown then jet boating back to the lodge for morning tea. Your escape will conclude with a scenic helicopter ride back to Milford Sound.
