In our fifteen years of operation, Down Under Tours has enjoyed significant growth. The company's increasing success is reflected in our workforce, which has grown and flourished from 18 in 1990, to 131 in 2005.

Our fleet of 56 modern, luxury vehicles ranges from 7-seater 4WDs to 53-seater touring coaches and even a specialised wheelchair-equipped vehicle.

From our Cairns base, Down Under Tours conducts tour and charter services throughout Tropical North Queensland into the areas of Cape Tribulation, the Tablelands, outback mining towns, and south along the East Coast.

A wide range of day tours including highlights such as the Queensland Scenic Rail, Kuranda, Skyrail, Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, Clohesy River and Cape Tribulation tours, are also offered.

Additionally, Down Under Tours operates an outback adventure safari tour, Desert Venturer, which traverses the isolated, far flung routes between Cairns and Alice Springs or Cairns and Darwin. Recently, Down Under Tours has recently launched an innovative series of supreme touring options for the discerning traveller, which includes Down Under by Appointment and by Down Under by Design.

From our Central Australia base, Down Under Tours conducts comprehensive charter services for groups exploring the many remarkable attractions of central Australia including Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).
