A half-day snorkeling tour on a heavenly reef!

Surrounded by rich, tropical vegetation, Bahia Petempich (in Puerto Morelos, between Cancun and Playa del Carmen) is a national park and a Mexican Garden of Eden. This chance to explore the fascinating underwater world of the second longest barrier reef in the world is truly a dream come true for snorkelers.

After picking you up at your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle, your tour guide will take you to a beautiful beach club with all the facilities (lounge chairs, restaurant, restrooms, etc.) in Bahia Petempich. There, you will receive a snorkeling orientation, including a snorkeling lesson for beginners.

Then, you'll head out to the reefs on an outboard motor boat for two guided snorkel expeditions. The first features a deep reef for your initial contact with an amazing marine ecosystem. Afterwards, you'll travel to a shallow reef with a totally different habitat. The duration of each snorkel stop will be approximately 45 minutes.

Following your snorkeling expedition, you'll return to the beach club for a shower in preparation for the return to your hotel.

- Wear light, comfortable clothing and a swimsuit
- Bring biodegradable sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel.
- Please bring cash for a per person national park and reef conservation fee ($7 USD), souvenirs, and tips.
- The boat is a 14-passenger, 21-foot outboard motor boat with a shaded area.
- The tour company provides pickup service at most Playa del Carmen hotels. However, for some hotels in Playacar and downtown Playa del Carmen, you will need to take a short walk to the meeting spot. The details of the meeting place and pickup time will be given to you when your tour is confirmed.
- Transfer to/from the beach club takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on your hotel location.

- Children younger than 5 may participate, at no charge, if they snorkel with an adult.
- An open bar will be provided after snorkeling, while at the beach. You must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol.
