Our check-in desk is situated at the domestic counter in Nadi Airport. We meet our clients off their international flight and assist them to their Pacific Island Air check-in. We offer the flexibility of helicopter, air or seaplane so can fly to virtually anywhere in Fiji. This also means we can offer a cheaper combo option for passengers as they can fly by seaplane to the resort and back by helicopter, 2 great experiences for less. Bula! Welcome to Pacific Island Air. Pacific Island Air offers helicopter, seaplane and fixed-wing aircraft for all your resort & island transfers, scenic flights, charters, adventure packages and commercial operations in and around Fiji.

Pacific Island Air, Helicopters (Fiji) and Vanuatu Helicopters are privately owned by John Currie and family. Their company Garden City Helicopters is widely respected as one of New Zealand's premier helicopter and aviation operators, servicing all aspects of tourism and charter flights, air ambulance and rescue operations plus commercial flying services as well as further expansion into fixed-wing aircraft charter operations.

The company currently operates one 6-passenger twin engine Squirrel helicopter, one 6-passenger Beaver seaplane, one 10-passenger Otter seaplane and two twin-engine Islander planes seating 6 passengers.

Pacific Island Air has the flexibility and capability of flying to any destination in Fiji. Passengers can fly by seaplane one way and return by helicopter, offering two distinctly different experiences from one operator.

Our company is based at Nadi Airport with a check-in desk situated at the domestic terminal. You can also find us at our operations base in Denarau. Our aim is to get our passengers as quickly and efficiently as possible to the destination of their choice.

While a large part of our business involves transfer flights to resorts and islands, we also offer scenic flights, private charters, adventure packages in association with other tourist operators in Fiji and Medivac Emergency Services.
