We are very fortunate to have General Managers with a long history working in the gourmet food industry, having owned and managed several restaurants in the South Pacific. Along with our five full time Fijian chefs, they have more than 100 years of gourmet cooking experience.

The cuisine at Qamea can best be described as South Pacific Rim, which is similar to California Cuisine. Our fruits and vegetables are organic, and if not from our own gardens, are flown in three times a week from New Zealand. All of our seafood is local, caught daily by Qamea fishermen. Our beef and poultry is also flown in from Australia and New Zealand.

For breakfast we offer a full menu from which to order, with favorites such as papaya French toast or mango pancakes (seasonal). For lunch and dinner, the menus change daily, and you will always have a choice of two entrees (starters) and three mains with at least one vegetarian option. Every afternoon at around 4PM afternoon tea and homemade cakes or pastries are served, and snacks are always available between meals.

We also offer a full bar service, and with our new temperature controlled wine cellar, an ever growing selection of Australian, New Zealand and other international wines. Qamea is widely known throughout Fiji for its excellence in food. You will not be disappointed!

Qamea and her neighboring islands offer a tropical paradise of adventure and beauty. Guests can avail themselves of a wide range of complimentary activities including incredible snorkeling, hobie cat sailing, windsurfing, sea canoeing, hiking, croquet, visiting one of the local villages and lots more. Our diving is also world renowned, and with a fully equipped PADI accredited 5 Star dive facility our diving staff can introduce you to an underwater adventure you will long remember.

Qamea Resort & Spa have partnered with luxury surf pioneers, Tropicsurf, to bring undiscovered, un-crowded and untapped surf breaks in North Fiji to the forefront of Luxury surf trip enthusiasts' minds. Between November and April, Tropicsurf will offer an expert Western guide located onsite. From the moment guests step onto the island, they will feel as if they have entered a Fijian village set in a luxurious South Pacific tropical paradise, and will now have the option to surf the secluded and untapped breaks of North Fiji.
