Ol Pejeta Bush Camp
Overview"This attractive, unobtrusive camp is located on the banks of a river that forms a natural amphitheatre where animals come to drink and the plains stretch out to distant hills. With such a tranquil ambience that it's possible to feel totally at one with the surrounding bush, this is an ideal place to get to grips with the ebb and flow of bush life. In contrast [with other camps], here it's the combination of pretty simplicity and a genuine back-to-basics experience that satisfies." –Frommer's Guide to Kenya Award:
Activities Available:
Ol Pejeta Conservancy exists entirely for the benefit of the local surrounding community, and guests conservation fees benefit the community around the Conservancy. The community works in partnership with OPC on key projects such as schools and dispensaries (which guests can visit by arrangement), student sponsorship, road maintenance, livestock management, training in water management and conservation agriculture, etc. |
